The Birth of JFC

I have always loved food and cooking from an early age. I came from a family where our lives were simply centred on the dining table. I had invited a friend round for dinner that was not vegetarian. My friend felt a bit cheated that she was not going to receive a meal that she was use to and was reluctant to even try at first. Regardless I continued to prepare a meal for two and presented it in a way that was appealing to the eye. The aroma that was floating from my kitchen had got her attention and was very surprised that vegetables could look and smell so delicious. When I had served the tasty meal she immediately gasp “ This looks fantastic” The response was exciting and right there Juice Fusion Cuisine was born. We both felt that vegetarian food was hard to find Caribbean style and saw an overlooked gap in the market one that was worth pursuing.
